Nook's mission was to streamline renovation planning by bridging the gap between inexperienced homeowners and overwhelmed renovators.


I joined the Nook team in its early stages and had the opportunity to collaborate closely with key stakeholders and a dedicated team of remote engineers.


Together, we focused on crafting a platform that empowers homeowners to visualize and plan renovation projects, allowing them to develop realistic concepts and easily share them with renovators, facilitating the transformation of those ideas into reality.

Context

Homeowners often lack resources to understand the complexities of renovation projects, while renovators who can provide proper guidance are frequently beyond budget constraints.

Based on internal research, we learned that Merchant's were looking to expand their reach in a financially responsible way. They wanted to set up an online presence without the hassle.
